Never Underestimate The Power of Writing A Letter To Someone.

The 1st of September is World Letter Writing day which this year fell on a Saturday. The day before I visited a Catholic primary school in Sydney Australia as part of World Letter Writing Day. I spoke to children from the ages of 5 to 12 & they all wrote a letter, many of them for the very first time. One of the children had finished writing his letter & gave me his envelope. The launching of World Letter Writing Day

On the 1 September 2014 Richard Simpkin launched World Letter Writing Day at Waverley College in Sydney Australia. The event gained major media exposure for WLWD and also for Waverley College where the media picked up the story and the school was able to get great positive exposure for promoting the art of letter writing. The children enjoyed writing letters to everyone from their parents to the local council. Many of the children had never written a letter before so it was an exciting lesson for them all.
