Get ready to welcome the festive season seaside-style! Coogee Beach is set to shine once again as Randwick City Council launches its 2025 Christmas program with a magical twilight celebration on Monday 1 December at Goldstein Reserve, right by the iconic Rainbow Walkway.
This beloved annual event is one of the Eastern Suburbs’ favourite ways to mark the start of December. Picture warm summer air, the glow of twinkling lights, and Christmas carols floating across the sand — it’s the perfect after-school outing or early-evening adventure with the kids.
Families will love the live entertainment, festive treats, and of course the star attraction: an incredible eight-metre interactive Christmas tree that lights up Coogee’s foreshore. Whether you’re stopping by for a Santa photo, bringing the pram for a sunset stroll, or setting up a picnic rug with friends, this free community event is bursting with holiday cheer.
