Perfect for families, friends and little ones, Bondi Latin Fiesta is a free, all-ages event packed with live music, dazzling dance performances, hands-on workshops, kids’ activities and mouth-watering Latin food. From samba beats and salsa rhythms to folkloric traditions from across Latin America, the Pavilion will be buzzing with music, movement and joy from midday through to sunset.
Live Performances & Entertainment
Families can enjoy a full day of entertainment on the Main Stage, featuring colourful performances from across Latin America. Highlights include Samba Brazil, Peruvian and Mexican folkloric dance, Latin DJs and energetic live bands guaranteed to get the crowd dancing. A special Mayor’s Welcome in the afternoon adds to the festive community atmosphere.
Get Involved: Dance Workshops & Activities
Those keen to join the fun can head to the Forecourt, where interactive Latin dance workshops and performances invite both kids and adults to learn new moves and feel part of the fiesta.
Younger children are especially well catered for, with creative fiesta-themed craft workshops hosted by Waverley Library, along with colourful kids’ face painting in the marquee area outside the Yalangang Room.
Latin Food Markets
No fiesta is complete without great food. A variety of Latin food stalls will be serving up delicious flavours all day long, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed lunch or early dinner by the sea.
